Aliaksandr Kuchynski took bronze medal in road race of Belarus Road Championships.
Today, in Grodno, Elite road race of Belarus Road Championships was held.
New Champion of Belarus became Yavheny Hutarovich from FDJ-BigMat, who outsprinted Siarhei Papok and Aliaksandr Kuchynski from Katusha Team, Belarus Champion-2011.
Thus, Kuchynski became bronze medallist of Belarus Road Championships in road race.
- The race was almost plain and in general was made for sprinters. We had only one climb on every lap, but it was not too selective. I tried to attack every time we crossed the climb, but without success. Finally, in the massive sprint I did third. Not bad at all. I am happy with my shape before Tour de France – I am not a sprinter, but could take bronze in sprint, – said Aliaksandr Kuchynski.
