- I am really very very happy! I dreamed a lot about winning road race of Russian Road Championships and I did it today! The race was very hard because of climbs, hot weather and strong wind. During the race our team was very active and attacked a lot. I was in every front group, while with 70 km to go I decided to try myself. Was very good, that Konstantin Kuperasov followed me – together we a did a good work and good race. In the beginning it was hard to hold the distance between us and the rivals, because a lot of teams worked behind us. But, finally, we pushed hard and the advantage grew. At the finish line, I think, I had more energy for the sprint, but Kuperasov did a perfect race too. Today I am happy with the title of U23 road race champion, but tomorrow I will concentrate to my preparation for the Worlds. I strongly want to show a good results there, – said Anton VOROBYEV.
