Alexander Kristoff reached the fifth place in the fourth stage of “Eneco Tour”, a 213 kilometers long stage from Heers (Belgium) to Bergen Op Zoom (Holland): the Norwegian rider did a good sprint, staying ahead until a few meters from the finishing line, but in the end he gave up and was passed. The stage was characterized by a six-man breakaway, caught by the chasing group with 12 kilometers to go. The teams with a sprinter started to lead the lock step group: Katusha Team did a huge work for Kristoff, that anticipated his sprint and for many meters was ahead. But then the Norwegian rider lost some meters and Marcel Kittel (Argos-Shimano) returned, closed the gap and passed him. Second position for Jurgen Roelandts (Lotto-Belisol), while Giacomo Nizzolo (Radioshack-Nissan) completed the podium. Tom Boonen (Omega Pharma-Quick Step) is the new general classification leader.
