Tour de l’Avenir. Sergey Pomoshnikov and Sergei Chernetckii reached Top-10 at shortened stage

Two Russian riders, Sergey Pomoshnikov and Sergei Chernetckii reached Top-10 of 5th stage of Tour de l’Avenir, which was shortened due strong snowfall.

Today, in Francewas held 5th stage of Tour de l’Avenir, which was shortened due strong snowfall at Col de la Madeleine. Thus, the stage from Valloire to Les Saisies had only 44,1 km, including the final climb – Les Saisies.

The stage winner is Alexey Lutsenko fromKazakhstan, who won 3 seconds ahead of Ian Boswell fromUSAand 26 second ahead of Matteo Cattaneo fromItaly.

Two riders of Itera-Katusha and National Russia Sergey Pomoshinkov and Sergei Chernetckii finished close to leaders, at 8th and 9th places, respectively (+0.31 and +0.35). Another Russian rider Gennady Tatarinov finished 13th with +0.47.

Before the last stage tomorrow Sergei Chernetckii is still 4th in overall classification of Tour de l’Avenir with +0.15 to current GC leader Warren Barguil from France. Sergey Pomoshnikov is 6th with +0.26, while Gennady Tatarinov is 7th with +0.31.
