- I am really happy today! Indeed, we planed to fight for a medal today, while Anton had a strong motivation to fight for a victory. Finally we have gold medal for Russia. Its fantastic! We worked hard for that medal – we built a good work inside the team during the season, we planned right races for Anton. He was close for many times, but today he had all stars in his arms. This is not a surprise victory – of course, we have the generation changing in youth cycling, but thanks to the Russian Global Cycling Project now we have a chance to come back to the level we had some times ago. We have riders, who can show great results in individual time trial, but also, we have really strong riders, who already have fine results in road races at the highest international level. We can say, Russian youth cycling is growing up and is reaching great development. Itera-Katusha proves it during the whole season, Anton Vorobyev proved it today, winning gold medal. I want to thank all people, who has believed in our team, in our Project, - said Nikolay MOROZOV.
