Today finished the French race "Paris-Nice" with the 7th stage, a mountain individual time trial from Nice toCold'Eze, 9,6 kilometers long. Simon Spilak was the best performer for Katusha Team: the Slovenian rider closed 6th, 55'' behind Richie Porte (Sky), winner of the stage and the final classification.
Thanks to this performance, Spilak moved to 6th position in overall standings, 1'48'' far from Porte. Second position for Andrew Talanski (Garmin-Sharp), +55''; Jean-Christophe Peraud (AG2R) closed the general classification podium, +1'21''.
Katusha won final team’s classification ofParis– Nice with +1.23 ahead of French AG2R La Mondiale and with +3.38 ahead of Radioshak.
Taking bright team’s victory, Katusha celebrated his return to the WorldTour. As the result of Paris– Nice, Katusha Team placed 11th in the UCI WorldTour team’s classification with 44 points.
