I salute the Russian Team Katusha and in anticipation of the opening of the new cycling season 2015, I wish you many successes!
This year you gave your fans a lot of enjoyable and exciting moments, delighting all with victories in the most prestigious cycling races around the world. The desire for success and strong team spirit has become the key for your brilliant performances in competitions. We can clearly remember the triumphs in the legendary race Milano - Sanremo, at the stages of the Tour de France or in the prestigious stage race Critérium du Dauphiné!
The path to success for Katusha was thorny, therefore making the successes twice as nice. And it is very important to note that in only a brief period this team has achieved such impressive results – to become one of the leaders of world cycling and to grow the young generation of promising athletes.
I am sure that in the upcoming 7th season of the UCI WorldTour, Katusha will continue to be even more stable, while the professionalism and experience of the athletes will provide our team a lot of uncompromising wins in the future races. And will make the upcoming season even more spectacular for the fans.
Good luck and all the best!
For the sixth season in a row, the Russian cycling Team Katusha rightfully takes its place among the elite in the world of cycling. Our team is well known and loved, and it has grown accustomed to winning a lot of trophies and beautiful victories in many prestigious races. We have achieved significant results, but this is only the beginning.
The time has come for Team Katusha to become not only a symbol of the victories of Russian cycling, but also an outstanding example for the younger generation of talented riders that will glorify Russian cycling.
I'm sure that the season 2015 will be a true breakthrough for the Russian youth in the world of cycling; it will bring us many beautiful and brilliant victories.
Gazprom is always with you!
Together we can win!
Another year in the life of the Russian Global Cycling Project was marked by great team spirit and incredible cohesion shown by all of Katusha. The team gave all of us many joyful and happy moments. Despite sporadic difficulties and sometimes tormented bad luck, the team showed it can achieve excellent results. Many times Katusha’s riders were very close to nice victories and in these moments there remained total empathy and unity from within the team. After six years of development, all of Katusha can rightfully and proudly be called “TEAM”.
Last season brought Katusha to an entirely new level. The triumph at Milan-Sanremo was the realization of a long cherished dream. Wins and numerous podiums at the stages of the Tour de France became the achievement of desired goals. Successes at the “Dauphiné”, Catalunya and Romandie all came from the implementation of strategic plans and decisions, and the first successful steps of young Russians in the WorldTour races and at the World Championships bolstered the hope of being on pace to get perfect results in the near future.
Six seasons of Katusha are already behind us, but all of the best things are just beginning and still ahead. I believe that more memories, along with vivid, beautiful and triumphant victories, still lie ahead.
