In 2013, Katusha Team had a very decent, solid racing season where we saw everything: our heroic overcoming of difficulties and obstacles in our way, then a triumphal comeback to the WorldTour, a large number of victories record-breaking for our team, historical breakthroughs and repeats of our previous great achievements.
The 2013 season marked a new, higher level of Katusha Team’s development. With 30 victories and 80 podium places during the season, with a good third of those earned by Katusha Team’s Russian riders, this is a serious result we can be proud of.
Looking through the doors to the upcoming 2014 season, we must hold our top position in professional cycling and prepare ourselves for another breakthrough because we will not stand on the same place. Next season, we have many serious goals and objectives, which we certainly know we can achieve.
Katusha is one of the best teams in the world and we have already proved it for several seasons. But we are not just going to rest on our laurels; we are looking forward to winning even greater victories in the WorldTour races, evolving the leading positions of Russian riders, both young and already experienced, taking an even higher place for Russia in the international cycling ranking. I think we can do it!
